Is Escorting Legal in the UK?

We are often asked by potential new clients who have never booked an escort before "is escorting legal in the UK".

Escorting and the exchange of sexual services for money is legal in the UK. In Northern Ireland, the law is different because it is illegal to pay for sex.

Under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, there is a list of illegal activities that are associated with sex work

• Street Prostitution - Trying to acquire clients in a public place.
• Forcing or threatening a sex worker into offering services.
• Owner/managing a brothel - A brothel is considered to be any premises used by more than one sex worker.
• Pimping - Someone who has control over sex workers and takes the money they earn.

How we Support and Protect our Escorts

Rude Clients are NOT Tolerated

If a potential client is rude to our receptionists, the call will be ended and we will not accommodate your booking request. If you are rude, shouting or disrespectful down the phone, we do not trust you to treat an escort any better in person.

Client Eye

We use the safety app Client Eye to monitor if any potential clients have been flagged as abusive or problematic. We have a black list of clients we deem unsafe to meet an escort. This way we can reduce the risk to our girls of meeting a dangerous client.

We want to help escorts understand their rights. By understanding what is allowed and what isn't allowed in the industry can help everyone be safe with clients and law enforcers. We also share our expertise and tips to ensure all our girls to understand the basic safety tips to protect them when working in London.

How Support and Protect our Clients

Verified Escorts

Unlike most escort agencies we require ID from every escort that applies to join our team. We must be able to verify the person applying is the same as their ID to ensure we have no fake girls on our website. 

Once everyone has been verified, our team will do further checks and ensure every girl understands the basics before they are able to meet a client.

Three Strike Negative Review Policy

Unfortunately, we can not control the quality of every individual service an escort provides. Do we expect poor services? Definitely NOT!

At London Deluxe, we operate a three strike negative review policy. To be as transparent as possible, we publish all reviews (the good, bad and ugly) left by genuine clients on our website. If a girl receives three negative reviews in a short period, she is taken off the website and will no longer be represented by our agency. That is how we can protect our clients for a poor service.
